If you and your girl are after a solid 11/10 look for Splendour in the Grass, then it's time to give your wardrobe a mega revamp! Here's a rundown of the festival outfit essentials that are sure to guarantee an Insta-worthy snap!
Boho Babe
One of the most popular outfits at any Splendour At The Grass festival is the mystic bohemian.
We're talking about vintage prints, sheer embroidered mesh, gypsy crochet bralettes, floral tribal maxi skirts and dresses, delicate lace-trimmed sundresses, cowgirl hats, leather boots, belts and more! This trend is all about finding that floaty dress to match your free-spirited mood.
Festival Glam
The more glitter and glam, the better! Throw in some sheer mesh, fringed leather and metallics into the mix, and you'll have a hot AF festival look that demands attention. Leather is a vintage classic that never disappoints and works wonders in creating dimension. It's the festival season. Go all out or go home!!!
That Seventies Show
Expect an abundance of 70s grunge and heavy metal vibes and the mystical bohemian flocking the fields of Splendour.
Once again, wild locks paired with warm earthen tones, high-waist flare pants, snakeskin print, flower crowns along with mixing and matching are definitely IN this season. Today, this repurposed embodiment of 70s hippy culture is a nod to the emerging trends of years prior! Splendour in the Grass is no exception!
Bold Athleisure
When we think of Splendour, we think of a weekend filled with performance and streetwear decorated with bold prints, retro hues, designer logos and matching silhouettes. Not only is it a standout look against the leather, glitter and mesh but it's comfortable enough to keep you cosy during the winter nights.
Checks N' Plaids
Gingham check, tartan, houndstooth, Tattersall, glen, Madras and windowpane plaid! This year, Splendour In The Grass is all for the Clueless look. Easy and breezy, this colourful and eye-catching design is all you need to bring some serious depth to your festival-look while making a statement wherever you go.
LWD: Little White Dress
Move over LBD! We're repping WHITE this Splendour! We're back to sugar, spice and everything nice! It's the perfect piece if you're looking for something light and easy and can be dressed up or down in seconds! Pair a basket-woven bag, a statement hat and some vintage boots for added fun. Steal the limelight by finding a statement white dress with unique ruffle trimming, delicate embroidery, tie-up detailing, mesh overlays or tending cut-outs!
Leopard Baby
Who would have thought the 80s look would make its comeback in the chicest way possible? Badass vibes = LEOPARD PRINT! It doesn't matter if it's on your torso, your booty or your toes, leopard print is a sure-fire way to steal the limelight. PRO TIP - remember not to OD on the motif. Always pair block-colour accessories or throw over a jacket to keep your look on point.
Statement Sunglasses
Trendy sunglasses have always been a staple for sunny and rustic Byron Bay! Since 2018, we've seen a rise of chic and off the wall shades in the most abstract and eye-opening shapes imaginable - from the extra skinny to the diamante-studded!
Here at HELLO MOLLY, they're an absolute statement! Make your shady accessories stand out this festival season by sticking to iridescent and bold colours.
