Coachella Weekend 1 Roundup
So much to talk about, so limited characters.
Beychella.
Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter showed up and showed out. NGL, we were devastated when Bey pulled out of Coachella last year (until we found out she was preggaz with the twins then we were beyond hype) but we’re so glad she did because she had an extra 365 to prepare to slay and slay she did. She brought out Jay-Z and singlehandedly reunited Destiny's Child. We’re truly so #blessed to be living at the same time as Beyoncé. Can't wait to see what she comes up with next week.
The Yodelling Walmart Kid headlined... sorta.
DJ Whethan brought out the Yodelling Walmart Kid, otherwise known to his parents and friends as Mason Ramsey, and the mini country superstar sang Hank Williams’ ‘Lovesick Blues’ in front of an audience of at least 5,000 people. The audience loved it because, duh and we’re low-key hoping he signs a deal soon.
Bella’s always looking forward to the weekend.
The Weeknd and Bella Hadid were allegedly spotted kissing backstage after his set which was comprised from songs from his latest release which is allegedly inspired by his ex, Selena Gomez. We love a good rumour and although we don’t have any solid proof, we’re crossing our fingers that Bella and Abel (Babel?) are back together.
Can't stop. Won't stop.
Nothing can stop Cardi B from twerking, not even pregnancy. Our fave took the stage and performed some bangers from her first studio album, Invasion of Privacy, with the help of G-Eazy, YG and Kehlani. It was everything you'd expect from Cardi and reminded us why she's everyone's current fave.
Bring on weekend 2!!!
